CSPAN Truck Driver saftey hearing

Caught this on CSPAN. It was over an hour long. I only got the last 36 minutes.
It is VERY clear there are people in high places that think we should only be working 8 hours a day.
The woman (Joan Claybrook) who looks like "the church lady" makes a good point at 5:34 (second/bottom video) concerning compensation for the hours we work.
